Make no conditions, and none will be imposed. Let us give out of our own bounty, just as God gives to us." Unfortunately in our short sightedness, we forget this. Whatever Sri Ramakrishna may say, his cab fare is to be paid by ladies of a household. He can buy his socks and shoes only if a householder donates some rupees.
