Albert Einstein Spiritual Quotes

A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death.

The further the spiritual evolution of mankind advances, the more certain it seems to me that the path to genuine religiosity does not lie through the fear of life, and the fear of death, and blind faith, but through striving after rational knowledge.

God is subtle but he is not malicious.

Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind.

God does not care about our mathematical difficulties. He integrates empirically.

Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding.

People do not grow old no matter how long we live. We never cease to stand like curious children before the great Mystery into which we were born.

Great Spiritual Quote About Death !

“It is not the end of the physical body that should worry us. Rather, our concern must be to live while we're alive - to release our inner selves from the spiritual death that comes with living behind a facade designed to conform to external definitions of who and what we are.”
~Elisabeth Kubler-Ross (Swiss-American psychiatrist and author )

“For those who seek to understand it, death is a highly creative force. The highest spiritual values of life can originate from the thought and study of death.”
~Elisabeth Kubler-Ross (Swiss-American psychiatrist and author)

“The further the spiritual evolution of mankind advances, the more certain it seems to me that the path to genuine religiosity does not lie through the fear of life, and the fear of death, and blind faith, but through striving after rational knowledge.”

Mahatma Gandhi Spiritual Quotes !

  • I do feel that spiritual progress does demand, at some stage, that we should cease to kill our fellow creatures for the satisfaction of our bodily wants.
  • There is nothing that wastes the body like worry, and one who has any faith in God should be ashamed to worry about anything whatsoever
  • My imperfections and failures are as much a blessing from God as my successes and my talents and I lay them both at his feet.
  • In the attitude of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness.
  • I have faith, therefore, that if, in spite of our shortcomings, the big thing does happen, it will be because God wanted to help us.

St John of the Cross Spiritual Quotes !

“The soul that is attached to anything however much good there may be in it, will not arrive at the liberty of divine union. For whether it be a strong wire rope or a slender and delicate thread that holds the bird, it matters not, if it really holds it fast; for, until the cord be broken the bird cannot fly.”

“He who interrupts the course of his spiritual exercises and prayer is like a man who allows a bird to escape from his hand; he can hardly catch it again.”

“If you purify your soul of attachment to and desire for things, you will understand them spiritually. If you deny your appetite for them, you will enjoy their truth, understanding what is certain in them.”

In tribulation immediately draw near to God with confidence, and you will receive strength, enlightenment, and instruction.

“It is great wisdom to know how to be silent and to look at neither the remarks, nor the deeds, nor the lives of others.”

"Love consists not in feeling great things but in having great detachment and in suffering for the Beloved."

Great Inspiring Spiritual Sentence !

Accepting life as it is a multi-faceted concept. While it's good to accept circumstances and people as they are, it would be unwise to act out of blind faith or dejection: Either we say things will happen if God or destiny wills it, or that things are never going to improve so why bother... Both perceptions spread a negative vibration. Acceptance means I don't confront a situation or person simply because things aren't to my liking, as this drains me of energy I could use to reform the problem. With a clear mind, heart open to the unexpected, and willingness to make a difference, I link myself to God and take His energy to be successful in my goals.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.
